Like anyone else I'm very inspired by almost all the absolute vodka adverts. They just have such a simplicity to them, but the photography and execution of the concpet is always very well done. These 2 images are part of the ads where they dont show the bottle, but use different objects and artifacts to create the shape opf the absolute bottle. When a product is recognized from its shape you know its successful..

If you click on Steve Bronstein in Labels, you wil find 2 more photographs that have inspired me. The ones where the woman and man are throwing drink into each others faces..

in what ways are these images similar and / or different? ok, the product's the same but how might we read each of these photographs and what could we take from them that informs us about the brand?
also, i'm not sure i see what you see the steve bronstein images. beyond their technical accomplishment what are they communicating? in what way am i meant to read them? just as images? is that enough? getting past the surface of the shots, what's their story? am i seeing them out of context? were they used in or for something else?
