Method Packaging Design

I came across this hand soap bottle design which I really liked, simply because of its shape. It looks like a tear or a drop of water which relates perfectly with the liquidy soap it contains.. simple, pleasing to the eye, good design.

Blind Owl Typography

The picture below is a poster for the "Blind Owl" typography exhibition. I liked the poster because of its calligraphic qualities, the use of type in it is very interesting, creating the face. the stains next to mouth are also striking.



This other image is pure calligraphy and was done by an iranian graphic designer.

Parkinson Steps?

Definitely one of my favourite ambient ads ever! It's just perfect, straight to the point, well executed, and most omportantly delivers the message clearly & cleverly! very good piece of design! and good photograph.

Reduce the Bumps - Nivea

Very good concept of using the bubble paper on the ad. Gives a more real feeling to it, and makes the people walking by want to get close and try to pop it!

Roller Girls Posters Design

I dont know who the North Star Roller Girls are, but these ads make me want to find out. I really like the way they are put together, from typography & photography, to colour use & illustyrations.
Very good art direction, they look like very exciting pieces of work! and most of all, the elements go well with each other, they look like one great design! If I were to choose my favorite out of these 4 it would have to be the "Blood Type" poster, because of its presence. the colours and illustration give it so much life, its hard to ignore!

Pantene Escalator Ambient

Not much can be argued about this one. Perfect location for the ad, the escalator presents the perfect area to portray long straight, shinny hair!

Jeep & Smart Ambient

Not the best ambient advert i've seen, but delivers the message in a clear way, which is the most important thing.



This one on the other hand I think is extremely well designed, very strong concept, and perfect execution.. No wonder after this 2006 campaign all smart fortwo were sold out!

Zoo-Aquarium Berlin Ambient Advert

As the Caption states, the Zoo-Aquarium in Berlin decided to advertise at the international pole-vault-meeting near Berlin.
With a shark on the mat, it really gives the viewers a sense of excitment, and possibly would also make them want to visit the nearby zoo. Most importantly it gives spectacular press shots for the media!
This is proof that the possibilities and locations for ambient ads are unlimited. just be creative.

2 Inspirational Designs

Like anyone else I'm very inspired by almost all the absolute vodka adverts. They just have such a simplicity to them, but the photography and execution of the concpet is always very well done. These 2 images are part of the ads where they dont show the bottle, but use different objects and artifacts to create the shape opf the absolute bottle. When a product is recognized from its shape you know its successful..
